1) My spending balance reaches $10 or more.
2) My spending balance is under $10 and my account has been inactive for 45 days.
Or
3) Upon termination of the Cougar Cash Direct account, if my spending balance is positive.

Can I terminate my Cougar Cash Direct account at any time?

Yes, by signing in at cougarcash.byu.edu, you can switch your account to the regular pre-paid Cougar Cash account at any time.

Can I use a Credit or Debit Card to fund my Cougar Cash Direct account?

No, Cougar Cash Direct can only be linked to a checking account set up as a profile in My Financial Center.

Is there a limit on how much I can spend with Cougar Cash Direct?

Yes, the spending limit is $250 per day.
