The BYU ID

The BYU ID card is your BYU identification. It can be used to check out books at the library, access your Cougar Cash and meal plan and much more!

Students, employees, and affiliates can get an ID card at BYU ID Center, 1057 WSC. We will take your picture and print the card in our office - it only takes a few minutes.

Campus Cards for Departments

Campus Cards are available to BYU departments to make purchases at campus locations such as the BYU Store, Dining Services locations, Print & Copy Centers and other campus locations that accept Cougar Cash. Campus Cards may not be used at vending machines. finserve.byu.edu/payments/campus-card

Campus Gift Cards

Campus Gift Cards are declining balance cards that are accepted at the BYU Store, BYU Dining Services, BYU Print Services, and any other location displaying the Cougar Cash logo. There are no cash refunds on Campus Gift Cards. Campus Gift Cards issued by BYU do not expire. BYU is not responsible for any unauthorized use of these cards; replacement of lost or stolen cards; or the refunding of unused balances of lost or misplaced cards. BYU reserves the right to deny service for any or all offline transactions.

Campus Gift Cards may be purchased at the ID Center (1057 WSC) or the Cougar Cash Deposit Station in the Cougar Eat or Family History Library. There is no cost for a card and each card comes with a $0.00 balance. Patrons may load as much or as little cash on their Campus Gift Card.

Campus Gift Cards are not eligible for any Cougar Cash discounts or tax-exemption.

Campus Gift Cards may also be purchased by BYU departments. Please contact Treasury Services to procure gift cards for BYU departments finserve.byu.edu/payments/gift-cards.

Campus Guest Cards

Guest Cards are used for housing, meal plans, and CougarCash accounts for conference or seminar participants. Please contact Conference Accommodations for more information.
